When will I get paid?

Payouts are done on Thursdays and Sundays to addresses with over 7K Satoshis. The exact payout time varies but is usually around 11am GMT. You can set a higher threshold than 7,000 on the “check balance” page.

Why haven't I received payment?

There could be several reasons for this:

1. You did not go over the 10,000 Satoshis threshold or the manual threshold you have set (threshold can be checked under “check balance“).

2. You went over the payment threshold after we sent finalized payments (usually around 3pm GMT).

3. You’re using more than one Bitcoin address on the site and the address you want to get paid to is currently not linked to your FaucetHub account. We only pay to addresses that are linked to your user account. Meaning, you can’t get paid to more than one address.

4. Your address was banned due to violation of one of the rules (can be checked with admin).

5. You entered an invalid Bitcoin address that we can not send payment to (try pasting your address into blockchain.info and see if you receive an error).

I see the payment has been sent but it's not showing up in my wallet

Bitcoin payments require a certain amount of confirmations in order to show up in your wallet. Most wallets wait at least 3 confirmations before showing up the coins. Each Confirmation usually take 10 minutes on average (but can take more or less).

I changed my address and the balance wasn't transferred

Balances aren’t transferred between addresses. So if you change your address to a new address you will start with a zero balance on the new address. The balance of the old address isn’t gone, however you can only get paid to one Bitcoin address on payout day. This means that you will only be paid the balance of the address that is currently linked to your profile.

How do I know how much I claimed in the last 24 hours?

You can check the number of claims you’ve made through your profile section on the top right of the site.

Why can't I access the faucet?

BitcoinGates' faucet works on a membership structure. This means you need to register to the site in order to use it. Registration is free and takes only 10 seconds, use this link to register. Once you are registered, use this link to sign in.

I did not receive the sign up confirmation email

Please check your spam folder and allow at least 10 minutes for the email to arrive. If you still can’t find it feel free to either sign up again, sign up under a different email or contact us with your email address and we will look into this.

I'm getting a wrong captcha message all the time

Since a lot of people are trying to hack the website and spam it the faucet uses some very advanced protective measures. That’s why sometimes the site won’t work correctly if you’re using an automated software to collect Bitcoins, a bot or with old browsers. If you’re getting the “wrong captcha” message please make sure you are following all of the fuacet rules and also that you’re using a browser that isn’t older than these ones:

I'm not seeing the Satoshis I claimed in my wallet's address

When you claim Satoshis they aren’t sent directly to your wallet. Instead they are accumulated on your account and once you reach the minimum threshold (currently 10,000 Satoshis) they will be sent to your wallet. You can check your address balance using this link.

I'm getting ERR_SSL_VERSION_OR_CIPHER_MISMATCH instead of the Captcha

Please make sure you are using a browser that is newer than the following versions:
